SAFETY POLICY 

At AMW, we adhere to and implement various safety procedures, including the following:

 

1. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

 

2. Machine Safety

• All employees receive training on the specific machines they will operate.

• Machines are equipped with appropriate guards. 

• Emergency stop buttons must be easily accessible on all machines.

 

3. Work Area Organization

• Workstations are organized for efficiency. 

• Proper storage practices are maintained.

• Machine maintenance is prioritized.

• Clear pathways are kept to avoid accidents.

 

4. Material Handling

• Heavy materials are moved using forklifts or hand trucks.

 

5. Fire Safety

• Fire extinguishers strategically installed throughout the shop.  Emergency exits are clearly marked.

• Flammable materials are stored in proper containers, away from heat sources. ​

6. Chemical Safety - All chemicals are clearly labeled.

 

7. Emergency Procedures - 

• A first aid kit is available within the shop.

• Emergency contacts are readily accessible.

• Regular inspections and maintenance are conducted for machines.
